His mini album 'One Long Song' came out in November of 2005 to critical acclaim. The lead track, 'You Can Be The Stars' is the first single to be taken from the mini album and received some radio play on the back of the album release. Inspired by the reaction of movie ushers around the world to another of the songs from the mini album, 'Sweetheart' (which is featured on the end credits of the film THE WEDDING CRASHERS) the b-side, 'House Of Dreaming', is a tale of a movie usher who decides to jack in his job and hit the road.
Last year Jont's UNLIT parties (a hybrid of a house party and a gig without electricity), came from L.A to London. Musicians and poets created intimate unpretentious parties of legend in friend's homes. Jont is extraordinary. His music has a sense of timelessness and fragility that has fast become his trademark and has attracted a dedicated following in America and the UK. His website is never still, bulging with magical stories of discovery and delight, from fans and himself.
