Biog

'That Legendary Wooden Lion' started life in the 1970s as plain 'Wooden Lion'. They played the famous free festivals in Windsor and Watchfield and many other gigs and then disbanded. In 2006 founder members Roy Weard and The Cardinal Biggles, got together with guitarist Steve Bensusan, who had worked with Roy in the 80s and became 'That Legendary Wooden Lion' This album was recorded between 2009 and 2010. It features guest appearances by Nick Pynn on violin and viola and Darren Reynolds on double bass. Described by some as 'a heavy Pink Floyd'
