Tom McKean & the Emperors follow up the success of their debut single "This is the Year" (BBC Radio 2 Record of the Week - the Radcliffe and Maconie Show) with the Wine, Women and Song 4-track EP.
Glaswegian vocalist McKean describes their sound as "darkly irreverent" – but to you and me a better description would be a mash up between Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen and Johnny Cash with songs full of all the mischief, fire, fury and heartbreak that implies.


The guys are London-based and also host the hugely popular monthly live music night "Hush at the Perseverance".
