Biog

On 11th April 2021, my sister lost her son to suicide at age 21.
Toby was obviously my nephew, and though he lived 150 miles away and I hadn't seen him for a few years, the effect his death had on our whole family was devastating. My sister had lost her 'baby', my parents had lost a grandchild, and my own three children were deeply saddened. My thoughts were with my little Sister, no-one should ever have to lose a child.
As I started to think about the effect this has on a Mother and a family, I picked up my guitar, played a chord and sang the words "One less at the table for Christmas, one less stocking to fill", and it went from there. I hadn't finished the song by Christmas 2021, or even 2022, but now that I'm a recording artist, I knew I had to get this message heard this Christmas.
I'm partnering with Child Bereavement UK, to raise awareness of the permanent and total devastation that suicide brings to a family, not only at Christmas time, but every single day, for ever.
