Bluesky Research have emerged from their own monthly 'Research' club night in Portsmouth. It sells out every time, 300 heads. So forget 'the man', they're releasing their debut AA side single "True Spirit" and "Ask For The Dawn" on their own 'Research Recordings' label.
The tracks were produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers and Super Furry Animals) in Stir Studio in Cardiff at the end of 2005 .
The band have supported the God-like Ian Brown on two tours last year. Charlie Waddington from Bluesky Research also co-wrote 'Sweet Fantastic' on Brown's last studio album 'Solarized'. They're also toured with Pure Reason Revolution.
