Following the incredible reaction to Tallulah's first single 'Lay Me Down', Time Away is the final release before the highly anticipated full length album 'Libellus' hits the shelves in May.

Lyrically Time Away was written as an apology and continues the intimacy that Tallulah embraces with her listeners…

'I wrote this song awhile ago and really had to be convinced by Marius and Matt to record it;; it felt so part of my past that I wasn't sure it had a place on this record. In the studio this all changed, suddenly events in my life made this song current again and I am now really glad we took the time to record it. It is an important song for me, and it has come to symbolise a type of right of passage.'

Libellus, recorded at Urchin Studios and The Strong Rooms, has been lovingly crafted over the last year with Executive Producer Marius De Vries at the helm. Much more than just a collection of songs, Libellus - 'a small book of poetry that comes to life' - was provoked by Iris Murdoch novel The Sea and with such attention to detail on the record, it's easy to find yourself drawn into the world of each song and the stories hidden within.
