The Thread began in October 2020. Produced and recorded by William Jackson (Platinum Award-winning records for The Pigeon Detectives + The Cribs, Kaiser Chiefs, Embrace) at Eiger Studios, Leeds. The songs chart the journey of a doomed encounter, its ultimate end and the salvation of new love. Release, February 2026.

British singer songwriter Virginia MacNaughton's debut album, The Music,1996 was the result of a chance meeting with Pete Brown (Cream) and bassist, John Michael MacKenzie. Early recordings with Cameron Jenkins (Everything But The Girl, Badly Drawn Boy, Lana Del Rey), led to a full album, produced by Phil Saatchi featuring string arrangements by Oscar-winning composer and Art of Noise founder, Anne Dudley and recorded at AIR studios, London.
