Biog

The Phoebes were an all girl punk band from South Africa. This is their debut album and includes the singles 'car Wreck Girl' and the famous cover of Wendy Oldfield's 'This Boy'. The band enjoyed great success in South Africa around the years 2001 playing major festivals and appearing on major magazine front covers. They frequented the famous Johannesburg punk scenes and were known as the first all girl punk band in SA.
