Having been a time served member of the independent music scene, 13SCREAM is the brainchild of James McCulloch and, is the band he has always wanted to be in.

British Rock with a visceral, aggressive, raw punk perspective, standing on the shoulders of giants, we are screaming our influence from artists such as Therapy, Kerbdog, The Wildhearts, Danko Jones, and, from the new era of Alt Rock, The Empty Page and DR DR.

In Tarot, the number 13 represents Death.

After a long and arduous journey to mental health, McCulloch's recent diagnosis of complex ADHD has brought enlightenment and change 13SCREAM is his way of marking his own, metaphorical death, and a subsequent cathartic, reimagining of self, now he finally knows who he really is.

It's an honour to bring this vision to life, this feels exciting, because it feels right.

Having spent many years looking for a band that allows him the freedom to create, explore and express himself as a drummer, musician and performer. Within 13SCREAM Bam Bam has finally found common ground and a bond rooted in music and lived experience. One that encourages his his artistic embellishment and enables him to flourish.
