A chain gang stomp, looming and loping into view, 'Silver Medicine Blues' may be a conventional three and a half minutes but all normalcy ends with its run time. The rest is threat and menace totally in keeping with the anonymous persona of its creator as a true story of infidelity unravels to a pointed conclusion.
