The Florentinas are a four piece alternative rock band from Bangor, Co. Down. Formed in early 2019, Paddy, Jacob, Luke and Jakob quickly garnered attention following live performances in Belfast.
In summer 2019, The Florentinas were invited to record a BBC Introducing Maida Vale session. Upon joining forces with Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody's artist development company, Third Bar, The Florentinas made their television debut on BBC Northern Ireland's 'Sounds New' and recorded live sessions for Open House Festival and the Oh Yeah Music Centre.
In 2020 they signed a major publishing deal with BMG in London.
November 2021 will see the band support Nothing But Thieves in the Ulster Hall and in Dublin's Olympia.
Their debut single 'Sandcastles' is set for release on October 28th.
