The mighty Riding the Low from Burton on Trent are set to release their second studio album, 'Riding the Low are Here to Help the Neighbourhood', this summer.

Fronted by Paddy Considine, the band comprises of Dan Baker and Chris Baldwin on the guitar, Rich Eaton on bass and Justin Chambers on drums. Captured at the historic Rockfield Studios in Monmouthshire by Nick Brine and producer Chris Slusarenko, as with their first album, the band continue their transatlantic partnership with Paddy tracking vocals in Portland, Oregon, with Guided by Voices/Boston Spaceships Slusarenko in producer role and Eyelids' Jonathan Drews engineering.

The Charlatan's Tim Burgess is a supporter of the band and the album's powerful lead single, 'Heed', has been initially championed by Radio 6s Chris Hawkins and Virgin Radio's Edith Bowman. Twitter has been hugely positive of the new sound and the band are looking forward to showcasing tracks from the album live during festivals like Sound City, Kendall Calling, Electric Fields and Festival Number 6 in the coming months.
