Johannesburg based Thabiso David Ditshego, also known as Thaby D, kicks off 2019 with his first official single to be released – Pop Style. The song is about "being yourself and doing what you have to do to reach your goals, even though nobody supports you."

Thaby D's sound explores the use of Afro-Kwaito, with the inspiration of pop-rap infused within the song.

The brand new single Pop Style explains different types of moods, from never giving up, to believing in yourself and never listening to everything people say about you. But when its better explained by Thaby D, he says "It's more of a warning song, to basically introduce myself and my sound to the industry… that we are both here."

Thaby D further explains that the song is one of a 16-track project which he is still working on.
