Ireland's rising alt-rock 3-piece return to the Straight Lines Are Fine label with the grandiose Pink December single. The sister track to 2016's Absent Dreams, Pink December sees the band forging new sonic territory...darker, more intense, haunting even. The track recalls the late-eighties output of The Cure, with a nod to God Machine and Bauhaus. This is the sound of a band honing their craft;; pushing themselves to new and unexplored heights of songwriting. Producer collaborator Kevin Vanbergen was again behind the controls for what is Slow Riot's most adventurous sonic foray yet.

Slow Riot saw out 2016 with some impressive airplay both in Ireland and the UK, a festival slot at the prestigious Other Voices, and a host of 'best of' plaudits. The band have already been tipped as 'Ones To Watch' for 2017 by music bible Hot Press and will return to the UK for live dates very soon.
