Real rock music should hurt; it should get under your skin and be a pain to dig out, something akin to the after-effects of standing beside a shattering window. Such is the view of the Brighton based, sludge punk trio; Ragweed, and from the brainsaw guitar to the pounding rhythm section and the bi-polar vocals, you have the instant impression of a band that means business. These boys are not messing around; they are here to entertain with brutal, vicious, catchy music and explosive live performances.

Comprised of frontman Tom Adamson on guitar and vocals, Joe Dan on bass and Nick Spooner on drums, Ragweed look to trample the line between hard hitting, heavy metal, and abrasive punk rock, with a few other bits and pieces add to the blend of course. With heavy breaks, big riffs, a power driving rhythm section, and melodic hooks Ragweed are defiantly brewing something with an infectious flavor.
