Formed from the ashes of Susan and the Bellends in early 2015, Klaut are a three-piece band based in Warrington, UK. We like to make music that is predominantly improvised and is built on the foundations of repetitive krautrock/motorik beats, synths, guitars plus lots of additional noise and experimentation. We like stouts, sports-casual attire and the opportunity to make music that is raw and exciting to play. We record our music in one take, never going back to re-do parts or polish things up, that way when we play live we are able to bring a fresh, improvised feel to the music. Think Neu! crossed with The Fall and we're somewhere in the middle. Did we mention that we play mostly improvised motorik beats?
