Biog

Master & Dog are 5 talented multi-instrumentalists (Kevin Carlisle, Philip d'Alton, Walter, Gerard Gormley, Sharon Thompson) based in Belfast who bring a whole new level of angst to alt-folk. Formerly known as John, Shelly & The Creatures, the band's debut album Dinosaur won over both critics and listeners with its belnd of sweeping alt-country and straight ahead rock and roll. Currently preparing to release their follow-up LP, the self-titled Master and Dog, the band is looking to make inroads with Canadian audiences as well. UK and Irish audiences will be able to see the group at a number of summer festivals with a Canadian tour planned for spring 2013.
