Melodic Punk Rock and Roll, attitude, energy and aggression that owes as much to the Merseybeat bands of the sixties as it does to early eighties American Hardcore .There is a more technical and aggressive element in place thanks to Gizz's guitar histrionics.
Fronted by The Prodigy live guitarist Gizz Butt, Janus Stark released the critically acclaimed 'Great Adventure Cigar' LP in 1998 (inc. a Top 30 USA single). Returning with new members 20 years later, two equally superb LPs followed: 2019's 'Angel In The Flames' & 2022's 'Face Your Biggest Fear'. The new Janus Stark boasts David Pistolas (rhythm guitar), Angus Mackman (bass) & Scott Bickers (drums).

Janus Stark .... what's happening in 2026 .....So at last this year we managed to get some new music out. Our single "Last Call" AA side with "Gimme Everything" was made available on Dec 5th on Bandcamp.
