Rising London quintet Years & Years are set to release their irresistible debut single 'I Wish I Knew' on September 24th through the Good Bait imprint.
Intricately weaving a patchwork of laptop rhythms, razor sharp guitar riffs and deep sub-bass, Years & Years have created their own distinctive brand of danceable, folk tinged electro-pop.
Their debut single 'I Wish I Knew' showcases Years & Years ability to cleverly juxtapose warm organic instrumentation with electronic elements, to produce innovative and intelligent sing-a-long pop. Accompanied by slower and sweeping B-side 'The Whale', this first taste of Years & Years offers a perfect introduction to this new and exciting band.
Throwing out the rulebook, the band describe their open-minded approach to songwriting, guitarist Emre explains "Someone will come in with a concept or an idea and then we basically bash the living shit out of it until we have something great."
