Biog

Aynzli is an exciting alternative act who fuses hip-hop, dancehall and soul. He's currently working on his debut album with Salaam Remi (Nas, Fugees, Amy Winehouse), Squeak e.Clean (The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Pharcyde) and Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers, Roots Manuva).

Born in Hammersmith, West London but raised in Jamaica, Aynzli got a taste for all things musical whilst working in a studio in Kingston where he would Clash (freestyle) against local stars to pass time. The album will be released in the summer, but ahead of this we will be releasing a second limited edition 7" "Had Enuff" on 25th February.

Aynzli has just collaborated with Moby – the single "Alice" featuring Aynzli Jones will be released in February and is expected to be one of the hottest records of 2008.

For "I Don't Listen/Red" Mercury have teamed up with Mucha Marcha and design zeitgeist Kate Moross to produce a limited edition white vinyl 7" that looks so frigging pretty that you might be tempted to stick it on your wall not your record player. With a past client list from the super cool to the super massive - from Dazed & Confused, Vice and Super Super to the likes of Cadburys and Pepsi - and with fashion lines with major players in design for 2008 its unsurprising that Kate has built up a cult following of her own.

With her combination of the intricate geometric and the anarchic Kate has sought a visual impact that hits at the heart of what Aynzli Jones is all about.

This is a collaboration between two artists from different realms set to explode in 2008.
