After four years in Alpinestars, Glyn Thomas – aka Ghostly Man – decided to branch out on his own. An early session at Johnny Marr's home studio last year produced a clutch of knock-out demos - think Elliot Smith covering David Bowie covering Serge Gainsbourg, including 'Hundred Heart Attacks' and 'The Only Man That Matters'. 'I'm writing the best songs of my life right now,' says Glyn, 'and these two songs kind of bookend my style.'
