Hostage Party are a four-piece rock outfit currently making their way back into the Irish scene after a long hiatus. Infusing loud, aggressive guitars with melodic pop hooks, they have been compared to Jimmy Eat World, Queens of the Stone Age and the Foo Fighters. The band have just put the finishing touches to their first EP, an eponymously titled collection of three tracks that has been getting some airtime on BBC Radio One and Radio Ulster in recent weeks.
