Named after the Mancunian musical melting pot where their story began, Jerzey Street Band are set to release their double A side single, 'Haigy's Girl / Wasting Time', on the Genepool / Universal label on 15 August.
Haigy's Girl showcases the bands rockier side with big guitars and driving rhythms with catchy hooks aplenty. Wasting Time (acoustic) takes a little more laid back approach giving the vocals centre stage and allowing the subtle ingenuity of the band to shine.
With support slots with Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Alabama 3, Sandi Thom, John Allen, Wishbone Ash already under their belts, Jerzey Street Band are ready to unleash their unique and refreshing songwriting talent on the world. The stunning new album, 'Breaking Radio Silence', will be released this autumn via Genepool / Universal.
