This is Brighton-based musician Matt's 2nd LP "Glow in the Dark" (2012). It remains his personal favourite so far, an even and involving body of work.
"There is very little new that's new under the sun, but once in a blue one, you come across something of genuine interest. Two things are very clear. One is that the vocals are always going to make lazy people point and say "Oh, look, David Bowie" and the other is Matt Finucane is making better records at this stage of his game." – Unpeeled Magazine
Taking his influences from Lou Reed, Mark E Smith and Jonathan Richman, Matt confesses to being "an explorer and purveyor of the wonderfully unconventional and confrontational" as Ringmaster Reviews wrote.
Matt's most recent release is the second of three singles on The Animal Farm. In The Evil Empire came out in November 2014, and Lilith is due October 2015. He's also working on a new EP and, longer-term, another album.
