Leeds quartet VITAMIN today announce their debut Giving It Up EP, released via National Anthem on 28 August in download and 10-inch vinyl formats. The band today premiere the video for the EP's kaleidoscopic title track, shot in Dungeness by director David Strindberg.

VITAMIN formed in 2014, whilst all of the members were still studying. They collectively dropped out of college to focus on the band, and began posting their first songs to Soundcloud late last year, to praise from the likes of BBC Introducing, a wealth of grassroots music blogs, and National Anthem. VITAMIN follow in the footsteps of the likes of Haim, CHVRCHES and Wet in releasing their debut via the label. Already this year they have toured with Darlia and Swim Deep, and appeared at Live at Leeds and Dot-to-Dot. They play Dance to the Radio's Welcome To Leeds Festival Stage on Thursday 27 August, with autumn tour dates to be announced shortly. The band this month moved into a Leeds warehouse that will serve as their home, studio and rehearsal space, and where they are writing and recording the songs that will become their debut album.
