Biog

The picturesque fishing village of Mousehole is set in the beautiful Mount's Bay, a jewel in the crown amongst Cornwall's fantastic scenery. Mousehole Male Voice Choir was formed in 1909, and continues to represent the highest standards of male voice singing, raising thousands of pounds for charities each year as they do. The collection of songs featured on this album includes the main themes of most male voice choir repertoire;; sacred songs with widely varying styles;; some with a local flavour (a taste of Cornwall in our case), also some manly stuff e.g. In Fields of Athenry and the Sailors' Chorus;; the romantic;; and rounding off with a celebration of music itself.
