Maria Byrne is an Irish singer songwriter from Cork. Maria's collection of uniquely phrased lyrics and infectious melodies were first noticed by BBC 6 Music presenter Tom Robinson who showcased her talent via BBC Introducing in 2010. In quick succession, she was invited to perform live sessions with Janice Long on BBC Radio 2 and John Kennedy on XFM. Maria's songs then made their way to national radio coverage thanks to Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2, Huw Stephens/Rob Da Bank on BBC Radio 1 and Alison Curtis on Today FM.Her new single - a cover of Follow You Follow Me is the music to the new Bank of Ireland advert campaign.
