Bonjour! In a reversal of traditional attitudes to our cousins over the Channel, La Frange share a devotion to all things Francais, forming in the true spirit of the original entente cordiale following the wine-drenched, Brie-stained misadventures of three Brightonians, L'Autre (James - guitar, vocals), La Grande (Ed - bass), and La Petite (Ben - drums, vocals). Guided by a mysterious, Svengali-like figure, known only as Papa Frange, the three boys have embraced the spirit of liberte, egalite, fraternite, adopting their nom des plumes along with a very personal take on French national dress and hairstyles. With an almost revolutionary zeal they have cultivated an energetic, melodic sound full of joie de vivre that reveals a range of musical influences, including PUNK! and ROCK! and COUNTRY! and LE ROCK SOFT! – all apparent in their frenetic live performances.

Live audience favourite 'Fashion' is an ode to style through the ages, and more crucially, a rallying call to libertarians everywhere to fight the oppression of skinny ties and tight jeans currently blighting our streets!
