Biog

The Bara Bara Band is a London-based folk quartet playing a mix of their own songs, traditional British folk songs and old time American tunes.

Ruth Jacob – banjo, guitar, vocals, harmonica, tin whistle
Rupert Browne – guitar, vocals
Will Dobson – cajon, percussion
Boris Ming – fiddle, keyboards, vocals

The album was recorded at Propagation House Studios with engineer Mark Ellis (who has worked with Seth Lakeman and Steeleye Span amongst many others), and mixed by Ben Walker.
Rupert and Ruth also run the monthly folk club TOOTING FOLK, which has become a firm favourite on the London folk scene.
