For the first time, a lead vocal comes from within the band.
"Control" is Dal's first release in almost 2 years and in that time their sound has evolved to incorporate wider-ranging influences and more electronic elements.

"Control" explores the light, floaty sensation of being with someone, but also the vulnerability that feeling brings. Josh, who also plays drums, layers harmony on top of harmony on the chorus- a refrain that loops over and over- luring your ear into the curious corners of the soundscape.

The single is a mark of intent for the trio's direction in the future.
