Biog

Madame Guillotine are a Plymouth based rock band formed in November 2014. All 4 members of the band come from diverse and varied musical backgrounds but share a mutual love of all things classic rock flavoured, a desire to be louder than everyone else and had nowhere else to go.

Our sound is influenced by the great rock bands of the 60's/70's and 80's, but wanted a modern sound. We can't ressurrect the past but wanted a sound that was distinctly ours. A nod to the past but taken in to the present day. Songs are built around the staples of the genre of powerful riffs, soaring vocal melodies and a rock solid rhythm section. It just wouldn't be rock any other way.
