Iran-born London-based bedroom producer and student of drums and percussion, Mahsap was born out of a self-directed exploration of sounds, drawing inspiration from time in isolation in the North East of England, and connecting with a sense of nostalgia and self-discovery. Churpsy EP is the first release by the artist and combines melodic hooks with a chillwave lo-fi hip hop slank layered with field recordings and modulation inviting drifting, dreamy reflection.
