National Anthem is proud to announce its next release, the Brother/Sister EP by Wardell, available as a digital download and 10-inch vinyl on 3rd June. Lead track 'Opossum' is digitally availablel already via iTunes.

Wardell will send National Anthem into double figures with the EP becoming the fledgling label's tenth release less than a year into its short life. The brother-sister duo of Theo and Sasha follow in the footsteps of Haim, Chvrches and Atlas Genius in joining the National Anthem roster.

The EP is lead by the tremulous Opossum - already garnering plays and praise from the likes of Huw Stephens, NME, Zane Lowe and Guardian.co.uk - and features three more new songs that set out the Wardell stall.

Sasha and Theo are brother and sister. While they draw from a wide range of influences, their music is best informed by the history of two people who grew up sharing a wall: summery Los Angeles weather, the simultaneous comfort and rivalry of family, and just the right hint of nostalgia. The Brother/Sister EP is the band's debut release.
