Biog

Georgia is twenty one and a singer/songwriter from Essex.After leaving school she continued her studies at Access to music in Stratford. She has been writing/performing for six years.She has performed with acts such as Squeeze.The Wonder Stuff,Chas and Dave and has showcased for Guy Chambers.She has performed at the Cambridge Folk Festival and The Camden Crawl. Playing in Nashville, she met lengendary double bass player Dave Roe(Johnny Cash, John Mellencamp,Dwight Yoakham,Robert Plant).Dave introduced Georgia to Tommy Hannum (pedal steel player for Steve Earle,Emmylou Harris,Ray Lamontagne)and they both agreed to play on some of her songs. Having already performed with Ric Sanders (Fairport Convention)and formed a great friendsip,Ric agreed to play on the songs aswell. With help from, Ben Rudge(drums),Joe Hymas (mandolin)and Dave Brown( guitar)the songs were recorded in Maple studios in Southend by producer TomTed Davies and mastered by Ed Woods.
