The Quails are making waves on the National Music Scene, last year the 4 piece supported Muse, Motorhead and The Kooks. This year they are in The Alps with Newton Faulkner, and play Beach Break Live and Reading. Master of Imperfection is The Quails' 2nd album and combines a darker sophisticated sound with the quirky, catchy sound epitomised by the first album. Recorded at the atmospheric Sawmills studios on the River Fowey in Cornwall, the album is produced by Simon Honywill and mastered by Simon Heyworth. Live, The Quails are exciting and powerful. Fronted by prolific and talented songwriter Dan Steer who has a distinctive and powerful voice and is a charismatic performer, rhythm and energy is supplied by Sam Banks on Bass and Chris Prentice on drums. . Keyboard combines with Max Armstrong's astonishing guitar riffs to create a perfect fusion of old and new. Topped off with sublime harmonies, it's no wonder this band are attracting so much attention!
