North London quartet Haunts are a rare prospect; a band who can match the ambitions of their unclassifiable sound with a musical philosophy that highlights the depths of their creativity.

Formed by Banks and Alex in August 2006 following lengthy debate as to their future musical direction, Haunts play infectious dance within the set-up of an indie rock band with a continuing lyrical concept of a futuristic city in terminal decline. Banks’s lyrics create a vivid scenario akin to a film noir interpretation of Blade Runner or Terry Gilliam’s Brazil; a setting that addresses the increasing urban paranoia of modern city life.
